Tribe-K Youth Program
Fun family time, Serious self defense
Tribe-K Youth Program is a system designed for parents and children, or siblings to attend together for an hour full of family fun time with a serious self-defense education. Our system is tailored to young students ages 3 to 12. Attendance of a parent and/or siblings is encouraged to maximize fun learning experience, however, it is optional.
In this system, we explore arts from around the worlds including Kali, Eskrima, Arnis from Philippines, Myay Thai from Thailand, Kung-Fu from China, Japanese Jiujitsu from Japan, Silat from Indonesia, and many more!
Students will learn balance, coordination, and improvisation through drills, as well as Martial Art history, vocabulary, philosophy, and virtues.
Through Bruce Lee’s Jun Fan Gung Fu/JKD concepts and Dan Inosanto and Sean Hurst’s philosophy, students learn the How, Why, and When to use self defense as well as stranger danger awareness and practice.
Students also learn valuable virtues through the course including confidence, compassion, humility, self control, and discipline.
There are 5 different levels to test for: Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, Proficient, and Advanced.
